Dissertation Project Completed!
Finally, after working on it for a little over 3 months, it is complete!

As always you can visit the website I have been testing the project on at:
http://www.ndedesign.com/dissertation/
Please note that for some of the features you may need to download and install a plugin (Flash and Silverlight), and for other applications you will need to be using a browser which supports those elements of HTML 5 (I would recommend the latest version of Firefox as that is what I have been using to test everything).
The site also has a little blurb about each appliaction, for anyone who is interested.
The Showcase
If you are in Dundee during the day on the 21st of May 2010 (this following Friday) then you can also come along to our degree showcase. It will be held at the University of Abertay, Dundee, from 2PM till 4PM, and my course (Web Design and Development) will be in room 4537.
Well, hopefully I will see a few of you there – if not then no worries, I know it’s at a stupid time during the day when most people will be working.
So what now?
Now, I still need to finish off some of my dissertation (it’s to be handed in on Friday). Then I have a 2 day trial at a web design company here in Dundee the following week, so hopefully that will go well and I will start working for them in the beginning of June.
I still plan on making at least 2 more posts about the HTML 5 elements I have been working with in this project – so keep an eye out for them. I have already made one on what I think about the HTML5 Audio and Video tags, so I plan on making one about the native drag and drop, and one about the canvas (although this may just be a brief overview of my experiences with it, as there is a lot to cover if I went into detail about it).
